ELECTRONIC BOARD DESIGN

Designing electronic boards is our core service. Drawing from an extensive electronics library, profound experience and expertise, we design analog, digital, mixed-signal,power and high-voltage boards. We are also easily able to integrate RF-front interfaces such as 3G or Bluetooth. Our deliverables include;

What do we offer ?

Anchor 1

Oftentimes, our customers' boards include a microcontroller, a processor or even an FPGA on-board. In that case, we develop low-level drivers. Our customers then could easily start developing their own application code on top of our firmware without losing any time on low-level firmware. Our deliverables for firmware development are as follows;

  • Complete firmware for the board

  • Diagnostics firmware

FIRMWARE DEVELOPMENT

PROTOTYPE VALIDATION

We always fully validate our designs before delivering them to our customers. We do not only verify that all peripherals are working as intended but we also run fault-injection tests and present all the boundary conditions in our specification sheets. With our rigorous validation methods, we don't leave any room for surprises. Our deliverables are as follows:

  • Several, fully-validated "golden" prototype boards.

  • Test cables which can be used with our special diagnostics firmware to debug the boards.

Having a fully verified design is never enough. At the end of the day, a successful design has to go into mass production and the board composed of dozens of different electronic items has to be tested properly at supplier.

To enable smooth mass production validation, we support our customers with our custom-made test kits and diagnostics firmware. Our test kits when combined with our diagnostics firmware is capable of testing each and every peripheral of our boards independently. This, in turn, makes it quite easy to pinpoint any production faults, thus significantly lowers scrap rates.

  • Optional: Automatic Test Kit that completely eliminates human factor during validation.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

We can get CE marking for all our boards by complying with the applicable directives (Most of the time, EMC Directive). We provide the necessary test reports obtained from authorized testing companies.

 

Additionally, based on the

specific requirements of our customers, we can get our boards tested for compliance with various other customer-specific EMC/EMI Standards.

FUNCTIONAL SAFETY DESIGN

With substantial experience of functional safety-based design, we can offer ASIL-rated ECUs or controllers for customers in automotive industry.

We can make safety in-context and out-of-context designs and offer proof of required ASIL level by providing fault-metrics calculations.

However, we do not get our boards individually certified for ISO 26262. It would be within the capacity of our customers to have their end-product certified using the documentation we provide..

SERIAL PRODUCTION SUPPORT

We can support our clients with serial production of our boards although serial production is not our core business and we do not have any intention to develop any serial production capability in the future. However, why would you work with us if we were to use another electronics supplier still? The answer is that you simply outsource the quality.

  • PCB quality usually differs from one supplier to another. We tightly regulate where a PCB of particular technology can be ordered and we personally make quality checks on PCBs.

  • Most importantly, we teach suppliers how to functionally test each board with our custom-made diagnostics jigs. Each board is then functionally validated and thus possible issues that can pop up during integration are eliminated upfront.
